24/27 FY2016 Important Measures: Businesses other than Business Technologies Business

In Industrial Business and Business Technologies Business, we expect SVA-TAC, a new product in the TAC film lineup, and QWP film, which represents a venture into a new area, to bear fruit in FY2016. Also, we plan to get results from acquisition in Measuring Instruments and accelerate contributions from such new businesses as care support solutions and laser radar so that their contributions will be evident in FY2016.In Healthcare Business, we will leverage our acquisition Viztek in the U.S. as a springboard to launch a global expansion in three areas of expertise: DR, ultrasound and medical IT. We also plan to develop abroad the diagnostic ultrasound systems, which are today a genre-top presence in Japan. What we intend to do is to use these three as our main pillars for growth and increase operating profit on a real basis.
