As points for achieving full-year performance goals, for the Business Technologies Business points include achieving strong results in hybrid-type sales by leveraging IT services in developed countries. While actual contracts are being acquired, we plan to accelerate these efforts during the 2H. We will particularly focus on strengthening the proposals for hybrid-type sales in industries and business processing domains that will lead to color MFP sales. Performance of the new A3 color MFP introduced in July of this year, a low-segment unit, has been extremely positive in emerging countries, and we will work to exceed plans during the 2H.
In the commercial/industrial printing field, in the 2H we will strengthen the global expansion base for MPM services that are being fully promoted to include the U.S. and Japan in addition to Europe and Asia. Furthermore, as color units introduced as new products in the MPP (mid-range) area are competitive, we will work to ensure that they make a significant contribution to the results in the 2H.
In the industrial optical systems field, we will work to secure sales volume for new products in the optical products field despite seasonal factors.
In the TAC film business, while the current strong performance is expected to be generally maintained throughout the year, we are proceeding with plans based on the assumption that slight adjustments will be necessary for the 4Q.
In the Healthcare Business, we will work to ensure that new ultrasound products produce tangible results in the 2H. Meanwhile, for medical IT services for which upfront investments are underway, we will strengthen efforts with a priority on achieving an increase in domestic DR sales. That is all regarding points for achieving targets in the 2H.
