The red part of the chart shows the production print segment and this recorded growth. Revenue of office services increased by 9%.
With regard to operating profit, the positive impact of cost reductions nearly compensated for the negative effect of ¥900 million from the exchange rate and ¥900 million in lower prices. The benefits of higher sales volume and the impact of higher SG&A expenses roughly offset each other. About one-quarter of the increase in SG&A expenses resulted from new acquisitions, with the remaining three-quarters coming from the 12% year-on-year increase in revenue.
