Next, I will provide an explanation on the actions to be taken by each business aimed at achieving the full-year forecasts.
In the Business Technologies Business, the three key points are increasing sales of new office A3 color MFPs, increasing sales of color production printing systems through fuller-fledged promotions, and reducing manufacturing costs. Although manufacturing costs increased during the first half due to a temporary increase in personnel accompanying the mass production of new office A3 color MFPs, we will return to standard operations during the second half through improvements in personnel proficiency. Through these activities we plan to strengthen the inherent cost competitiveness of the new office A3 color units. In the Industrial Business, while sales are expected to decline for glass substrates for HDDs and optical pickup lenses, we aim to keep good sales momentum of main products such as TAC films, replacement lenses for DSLR cameras, and color meters. In addition, this business includes a department that promotes the Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) lighting and functional films businesses through active development investments aimed at achieving prompt growth for these new businesses.
