Sales increased by 3% year on year for industrial & professional lenses for digital cinemas and lenses for DSLR cameras. For others, in addition to the reduction of sales caused by the withdrawal from the glass substrates for HDDs business, sales of digital camera lenses also decreased due to the contraction of the compact digital camera market by approximately 30%. Sales of pickup lenses for Blu-ray Discs™ for video game consoles were robust.
