Annual net sales of MPM print services were ¥47.5 billion for a 52% year-on-year increase. This was partially attributable to M&A initiatives involving acquisitions of companies including Ergo Asia Pty Limited and UK marketing services firm Indicia Group Limited. The commercial and industrial printing field achieved organic growth in the production print field, thereby achieving an 18% year-on-year increase in net sales. That 18% rate of growth suggests the production print field has established itself as a significant platform for earnings generation, thereby contributing not only to net sales but also to the bottom line.
