First, as displayed in the graph to the right on the growth in sales volumes, although unit sales only grew by 3% during the first half in the largest market of the US due to deceleration in the commercial printing market and intensified competition, during the third quarter color units were up by 27% as a result of sales expansion measures for flagship unit "bizhub PRESS C8000." This resulted in overall growth of 11%. This recovery of color units in the production print field is good news from the perspective of further sales expansion in the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, while sales volumes were down in Europe and Japan as a result of the economic downturn, the scale of sales has expanded thanks to the contributions made by the acquisition of FedEx Kinko's Japan Co., Ltd. in Japan and Charterhouse PM Limited. in the UK. We hope to convert the synergies generated from these acquisitions to profits soon.
