This slide summarizes increases and decreases in sales volumes by region for core products in the Business Technologies Business. In A3 MFPs in the office field, sales of monochrome units decreased significantly year on year in Japan and the United States. This was due mainly to the fact that there were orders from major accounts in the previous year. Monochrome units in the production print field also decreased considerably in Japan. This was due to a shift from existing machines to Konica Minolta products in line with the acquisition of Kinko's Japan in the previous fiscal year, which led to an extraordinary amount in the previous year. In addition, sales in the production print field in Europe in the first half caught up on the delays registered until the previous fiscal year compared with the United States where conditions were solid.
