Commercial/Industrial Print Business ? sales performance

Sales increased by 13% in the commercial/industrial print field. In a breakdown of this, sales of hardware and non-hardware in the production print field were up 11% and sales of MPM and print services were each up 18%.
MPM stands for Marketing Print Management. We provide consulting related to printing and on-demand print services through Charterhouse PM Limited and Kinko's Japan Co., Ltd. that we acquired, making this a business domain that can lead to sales and profit for the Company.
Finally, let's look at the industrial inkjet field. This field was previously included in the Other segment, but is now positioned as a domain within the Business Technologies Business pursuant to the new medium term business plan. Performance was extremely solid this first quarter, particularly in Asia, contributing to an increase in profits, notably 32% growth in sales.
