Konica Minolta's vision for the next three to five years is to become a digital company with insight into implicit challenges. We use the term "digital company" to mean an organization that has mastered digital technology and operates in a range that stretches from devices all the way to value-added services and solutions. In the past, the product businesses were the base of our thinking, on top of which came the customers and the customer base, but going forward we will classify the entire Group's two-million-company customer base by industry and sector, and offer insight into the implicit challenges facing those industries and sectors. In other words, we will provide discontinuous improvements in productivity and new added value at customer companies by transforming the workflow of the operations in which we can play a role. By supporting the transformation of the customer companies themselves, we will become an indispensable partner. Then, by anticipating the challenges that the customer faces we will, through the process of anticipation itself, implement activities that continuously create solutions jointly with the customer. It is this continuous improvement in corporate value itself that contributes to the advance of business and human societies -- and it is becoming the kind of company that perpetually and continually creates such improvements that is our vision.
