Viewed by segment, with 3Q on a standalone basis on the right-hand side, it can be seen that the Business Technologies Business revenue did not grow year on year. The Healthcare Business revenue increased 17%, but the revenue in the performance materials field fell 14% and for the Group as a whole the increase in revenue over 3Q of the previous year was 1%.
For the first nine months, revenue rose by 5%. On a 3Q standalone basis, operating profit was hit by the 14% decline in the Business Technologies Business and the 30% fall in the Industrial Business, causing that for the Group as a whole to shrink by 18%. For the first nine months profits were lower by 12%.
