In lenses for industrial and professional use, including lens units for projectors and interchangeable lenses for digital single-lens reflex cameras, sales grew about 10% year on year. Others, including lenses for compact cameras, fell 25% but this had already been assumed and a strategy for dealing with it is in place. Overall, the optical systems for industrial use field grew 1% year on year.
